Percentage of the energy contained in a molecule of glucose is captured in the bonds of ATP at the end of glycolysis is 10 %.

Explanation: Respiration is energy releasing process in which glucose is used for energy production. Glucose is a monosaccharide which is used by the mitochondria of the cell to generate energy in the form of Adenine tri phosphate (ATP). Glucose is broken down into energy with the addition of oxygen molecule. 10 % of energy is obtained from one molecule of glucose and 90 % is lost as heat energy.
