    Explanation:

    Adenosine triphosphate or ATP is also called the energy currency of the cell. Because it acts as the energy storing molecule. The splitting of bonds of ATP with the release of a phosphate provides Energy to any biochemical process going on in an organisms body.

    ATP as the product of cellular respiration.

    During cellular respiration the Glucose molecules are used to produce ATP through the process of Gycolysis, Kreb's cycle and Oxidative phosphorylation.
