Rabbit fever is a zoonotic disease. The zoonotic diseases are those which transfer from infected animals to humans. The carriers of zoonotic diseases are domestic pets. Rabbit fever caused due to a bacteria Francisella tularensis. The rabbit gets infected by this disease. When the human comes in contact with infected animal tissues or ticks, they get infected. This disease is also caused by a tick bite from the infected animal. This is a rare bacterial disease found in humans. The domestic rabbits are the carrier of this disease. The symptoms include dizziness, red spots on the skin, swelling of lymph nodes, etc. The symptoms last for several days. Vaccines are also available for this disease.
