    Explanation: Evolutionary theory tries to show that related species can be traced to a common and related ancestors. This phenomenon can be seen in the different adaptive mechanisms, reproductive structures. According to Charles Darwin, organisms evolved specific morphological and anatomical features from their earlier ancestors as can be seen in the Homo species which has evolved from several ancestors such as Homo habilis etc.
