If a woman with the trait (XrXr) mates with a normal male (XY), then all (100%) of the males will express the trait, but none (0%) of the females will express it.

However, if an unaffected carrier woman (XrX) mates with a normal male (XY) then there is a 50% chance that the male offspring will express the recessive trait (XrY).
