Explain the purpose of a quick body response like pulling a hand a way from a hot stove.

    The amygdala would recognize the danger and immediately do something about it, it typically puts us in a fight or flight mode, in this case it is flight as we are moving our hand away from a burning stove that could cause serious damage. Your brain knows that a burning stove is bad to touch because many a person has told you that in your life, ex. "Don't leave the stove running when you are not in the room." So naturally you would'nt.
