No, she would not continue to experience a period.

Explanation:

This happens because the ovaries stop making the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The ovaries also stop releasing eggs (ova, oocytes). Therefore a women could not longer experience a period or menstruate.

Because your final periods can be irregular, menopause is confirmed 12 months after your last period. It is not normal to bleed or spot 12 months or more after your last period.
