Difference from accuracy and precision

    Accuracy refers to all of your answers being very close to the actual answer. Precision means that your answers are all similar to each other even if they aren't necessarily correct.

    In other words, accuracy describes the difference between the measurement and the part's actual value, while precision describes the variation you see when you measure the same part repeatedly with the same device.
