Jordan builds a terrarium. But, the soil he uses does not have many nutrients. How could this affect life in the terrarium?

    The plants will die due to lack of nutrient, causing the smaller animals who feed on plants to starve. The large animals who eat the smaller animals will die off as all there prey (the smaller animals) are dead. Google 'Food Chains' and 'Food Webs' for some in depth explanations.
