The false statement about Recombinant DNA is

It has limited application because genes of interest cannot be moved from one type of cell to another.

    Explanation:

Recombinant DNA technology (RDT) is very fast growing field. Researchers are using this technology to produce proteins of interest by designing a specific strategy and construct for the specific protein. The use of RDT in studying the genetic variation in many diseases is important strategy for researchers.

The genes of interest can be transferred from one type of cells to another. By using RDT can be used to transfer and express the genes of interest from one organism to other as well. A gene can be isolated or amplified and can be transformed in to bacterial strains and can be purified from the strain as well. The gene of interest can also be transformed in to yeast cells as well by electroporation depends on the requirements, study plan and after careful look at the consequences.

Note. I am also working on Recombinant DNA technology project and transformation of genes of interest in to different cells. So I have vast knowledge about this technology. If you have any question, feel free to ask.
