What kind of evidence do scientists now use to compare humans and chimpanzees as close relatives

    There are different pieces of evidence to show the phylogenetic relationship between the different animals. Human and chimpanzee DNA are showing many similarities. It is about 95% to 98%.

    The number of nucleotides present in humans and chimps is similar to having some difference.

    The other evidence is their intelligence is more like a human. They learn much social behavior from their community. Their social behavior also changes with time like men.

    But with this similarity, humans and chimpanzees are different in many things such as - humans have a big brain than chimps. Their skeletal structure also differs.
