What state of matter has the slowest moving atoms?

    Solids.

    When you have a solid, the particles are moving but they're vibrating. They're touching each other but they're almost immovable. So when something is a solid, the atoms in there and the molecules in there are only vibrating. They look like they're not moving but they really are.

    solid. water molecules are close together and vibrate, definite size, fixed shape.

    gas.

    The state of matter molecules move the slowest.

    The state of matter molecules move the fastest.

    Melting.

    Boiling.
