    Secondary succesion.

It is supposed that the new life developed in the parking lot is originated in conditions existing in the envir0nment previous to asphalting the lot: residual seed banks, remaining organic matter and living organisms that lived there earlier.

This is a secondary succession because the area had previously been colonized or destroyed or cleared out by someone else. Now plants can live there due to this.
