A producer is anything that produces food to be eaten. EX: plants, etc. While an energy pyramid shows where the energy taken from anything that was eaten goes to. EX: Producers>Herbivores>Primary Consumers>Primary Carnivores>Secondary Consumers>Secondary Consumers>Secondary Carnivores>Tertiary Consumers.
