Immune System in Invertebrates, these have an innate immune defense mechanism that has cellular components carried by the hemocytes that involve the activation and release of molecules stored in the hemocyte that can be proteins among others. Vertebrates have an immune system that travels an antigen with the ability to respond quickly. They are the only animals with an acquired immune system. The presence of T and B lymphocytes in vertebrates is linked to the presence of lymphoid organs dedicated to the production or differentiation of these cells. They are also the only animals capable of producing specific antibodies, with respect to the number and type of immunoglobulins found in them, we observe an evolution towards a greater variety and complexity of the antibodies in the phylogenetic scale, with mammals having the highest variety of immunoglobulin classes.
