    Epithelial cells are found everywhere in our body which comes in different shapes. They are compose of layers and classify by the following:

    · Squamous epithelium - they look like flat and scale-like in nature where the cells is wider than there height. They are usually in the lining of blood vessels and air sacs of the lungs.

    · Cuboidal epithelium - they look like a cube where the cells has the same height and width. They are found in tissues that absorbs and secretes substances like glands and kidneys.

    · Columnar epithelium - they look like column-shaped where the cells are taller and thin. They can be seen in places that secretes mucus like the stomach.
