How are triglycerides, phospholipids, and steroids similar? How do they differ?

    Triglycerides are made up of 3 fatty acids and glycerol with ester linkages.

    Phospholipids are modified triglycerides with phosphates instead of fatty acids.

    Steroid perform their functions as hormones.
