Explain the process above that could have formed the sun

    Many scientists think the sun and the rest of the solar system formed from a giant, rotating cloud of gas and dust known as the solar nebula. As the nebula collapsed because of its gravity, it spun faster and flattened into a disk. Most of the material was pulled toward the center to form the sun.

    Gravity drew up dust and gas and rapidly combined them together. Most of the gas was Hydrogen and helium. That's why its a star because its made from gas. Temperature and pressure over the span of 50 million years rapidly fused together and jumpstarted the fusion.
