What would happen if the cell were exposed to a drug that disabled the transport proteins in the cell membrane?

    The cell would not survive if it gets exposed to drug which disables the transport proteins in the cell membrane. Due to this the supply of nutrients is not received by the cell and the cell is not capable of producing the molecules that are needed for the growth.
