    Under normal circumstances most water is lost in urine, Water imbalance, in which output exceeds intake, causing an imbalance in body fluids, is termed dehydration. To remain properly hydrated, water intake must equal water output. While the content of the body sodium may be altered, it concentrate n the ECF stays stable because of it immediately adjust in water volume.
