Rhizobium is a bacterium that has positive effects on plant growth. Different strains display a wide range of effectiveness, from a little positive effect to a massive one. The strains used in the study did not show a positive effect promoting plant growth, so we could say that they ARE NOT Rhizobium strains and need to be properly identified.
