    D: texture

    Explanation:

Depending on the size of the mineral grains that make the various types of igneous rocks, the igneous rocks can have fine or coarse texture.

The fine-grained igneous rocks have too small crystals of the minerals to be seen with unaided eyes. These rocks are formed by the rapid cooling of lava at the surface of the earth.

On the other hand, the coarse-grained igneous rocks have large crystals of minerals and are formed by slow cooling of magma.

Aphanitic igneous rocks such as basalt are fine-grained. Glassy igneous rocks do not have crystals and are formed by the rapid cooling of lava. Pegmatitic and porphyritic textures of igneous rocks are formed by the cooling of magma.
