    Meconium aspiration Syndrome

    This is the multifactorial and complex pathophysiology of newborns who has aspirated meconium into their lungs from meconium-stained amniotic fluid. This includes airway obstruction, foetal hypoxia, infection, pulmonary inflammation, surfatant inactivation, persistent hypertension and apoptosis.
