    Characteristics of living things:

    Growth, movement, nutrition, respiration, excretion, sensitivity and reproduction are the characteristics of living things.

    Types of bonds we have:

    The types of bond in chemistry are covalent bond, ionic bond, metallic bond and hydrogen bond.

    Polar:

    The word polar means equally opposite to each other. It also means located near the geographical poles of earth.

    Organic compounds:

    Organic compounds are those group of compounds which are formed by linkage of one or more carbon atoms with other atoms of other elements. There is covalent bond between those linked carbon and atoms of elements. They are generally found in living organisms.

    Chemical Reactions:

    Chemical reaction is the process of forming of a new compound by the combination, decomposition, replacement or the combustion of one or more chemical substance. There are six types of chemical reactions namely Combination reaction, decomposition reaction, single replacement reaction, double replacement reaction, combustion reaction and acid-base reaction.
