Describe the relationship between the two vocabulary terms given.

Dominant and Recessive

The dominant trait is the trait that will overpower the recessive trait. Example: A brown eyed parent and a blue eyed parent will most likely have a brown eyed baby because brown eyes are dominant and blue eyes are recessive. Recessive traits can only happen if the other parent also is recessive or if the other parent is heterozygous recessive.
