How do epidemiology and biomedical science complement each other in improving people's understanding of chronic diseases?

    Biomed science is a basis for epidemiology

    (how risk factors - - > epidemics = known biological factor - - > epidemiology)

    i. e. Framingham's study = high cholesterol is the risk factor for heart disease
