How will you relate the distance of the planets with their period of revolution

Revolution is the movement of an object in a circular path. There is direct relationship between distance of planets from the sun and their revolution period. If the distance of a planet is small i. e. near to the sun, so it has less revolution period while the distance between sun and planet is high so more time is consumed to complete one revolution.
