Forest rangers are genetically testing the deer in the forest after many were found dead. The tests determined that due to inbreeding, most deer have a genetic disease which decreases life expectancy. Based on genetic and mortality data, the rangers predict that the population of deer will be gone in 3 years. What initial concerns do the rangers most likely have?

There will be an increase in energy at the primary consumer level of organisms.

Energy available at the producer level will increase.

Less energy will be available mushrooms and earthworms.

There will not be enough energy to support the tertiary consumer population.
