    1) Monocot plants possess one cotyledon.

    2) The leaves of monocot pants have parallel venation

    3) The flowers of Monocots are trimerous (having 3 or multiple of 3 leaves)

    Dicots : -

    1) Dicots possess two cotyledons

    2) The leaves of dicot plants have netted venation.

    3) The flowers of Dicot plants are pentamerous (having 5 or multiple of 5 leaves)
