In an experiment, the hypothesis is If the wavelength of the light shining on a plant is shortened, the rate of photosynthesis is slowed down. If this experiment is performed, the dependent variable?

    The dependent variable is the part of the experiment that depends on the other part, the independent part. The dependent variable would be the plant because it's growth depends on the light wavelength.
