    Storms are not formed daily because, for a storm to be formed, enough moisture and warmth is needed.

    Explanation:

    Storms are formed when the air full of warmth and moisture rises rapidly into the atmosphere. As the air rises, it cools and the moisture gets condensed, and then it falls back to the Earth as precipitation.

    As there is more warmth and moisture in the environment, during summer season, so the thunderstorm activity is greater during summer season.
