    A Genome refers to the complete set of the genetic instructions of an organism, including all of its protein-encoding genes and other DNA sequences. The human genome consists of more than 3 billion DNA base pairs. In humans, the complete copy of the entire Genome is contained in all cells that have a nucleus.
