Growth can be defined as 2 main characters, one of which applies to prokaryotic organisms, or organisms like Protists where growth simply refers to an increase in number of these organisms within a period of time. Whereas in humans, growth is observed as the effect of these cells increasing in number and size again and again. Usually epidermal and muscle cells as they increase in size and produce more this is growth, along with other cells.
