How can invasive species result in changes in other populations?

    Invasive species can be described as species which are not native to a particular location and are introduced into the location i. e they are foreign to a location where they are transferred.

    Invasive species can disturb the natural ecosystem. They might prey on animals of the local ecosystem and cause their population to decline. They will also compete for resources with other predators and hence will be a threat to many of the species of the local ecosystem.
