Why do plants have a slow transport system?

In a plant body large number of cells is dead. Moreover plants do not have any pumping machine like heart that makes transportation in animals faster. For these reasons plants have slow transport system.

Because they dont have pumping system of blood over the body like us thats why their transport system is slow
