Difference between somatic cells and sex cells

    Somatic Cells are everything else such as skin cells, muscle cells etc. Somatic cells contain diploid (2n) chromosomes, they're produced through mitosis. Sex cells (gametes) contains the egg and the sperm and are haploids (1n), they're produced through meiosis
