Describe the role extreme temperatures play in enzymatic action. how is temperature involved in denaturing of proteins?

    Enzymes are Proteins. The shape of proteins is important to determine their functions. High temperatures affect the bonds between the protein's molecule (by breaking them down). The consequence is that the protein loses its initial function. In the case of enzymes, the temperature changes their active site.
