How would you describe a solution that has a high

concentration of water molecules?

    The hypertonic solution has a lower water concentration than the hypotonic solution, so a concentration gradient of water now exists across the membrane. Water molecules will move from the side of higher water concentration to the side of lower concentration until both solutions are isotonic.

    Explanation:

    Solutions can be dilute when the proportion of solute is low. Saturated when solute is added till solvent cannot take it anymore. Concentrated solution is prepared by applying heat to further dissolve the solute.
