The wolf population will die out

    Explanation:

Since coyotes kill more prey than wolves, the wolf population will have less food. Since coyotes reproduce, quicker than wolves do, the coyotes would need more food. Wolves will slowly die out as the coyote population grows.

The wolf population would slowly die off as competition increases. The death rate would increase over the birth rate as food supply would not be adequate due to the over consumption of the invasive predator.
