    Gastric tissue

    Explanation:

Peptic ulcers are the sores that are usually developed in the lower part of the esophagus, the lining of the stomach or the small intestine (duodenum or the jejunum).

These ulcers are formed by the bacteria which cause inflammation by increasing the concentration of acid in the stomach which corrodes away the protective layer of mucus in the digestive tract.

Peptide ulcers, if not treated well, can cause internal bleeding for which the patient might need to get the blood transfusions.

    The correct answer is gastritis

Ulcers are being caused by bacteria which is known as Helicobacter pylori. It can be transmitted from one person to the other by exposure to vomit or fecal matter or by close contact.

The infection which is caused by the bacteria weakens the mucus which protects the duodenum and stomach then it allows acid to go through to the sensitive lining.

If it is not treated it can cause gastritis. The gastritis can occur either gradually or suddenly. It can also go ahead to the peptic ulcer disease and it can also come up with stomach cancer.

Some of the symptoms include nausea, burping, bloating, and vomiting.
