Several enzymes are needed for DNA replication. As enzymes are proteins hence, it can be said that many proteins are needed for the replication of DNA.
Some of them are:
Helicases are required for unwinding the DNA.
Topoisomerases are required for unwinding the supercoiling of the DNA.
Ligases are proteins or enzymes which join the nucleotides to make up a strand.
DNA polymerases are involved in synthesizing the new strand of DNA.
