Both nuclear power plants and the coal or natural gas power plants use steam to turn turbines to generate electricity. Elaborate on why one might choose nuclear power over the fossil fuel power plants. A) Isotopes contaminate the surrounding environment making it uninhabitable for people and animals. B) Nuclear power has far less environmental impact than using coal or natural gas to produce electricity. C) Radioactivity is the wave of the future and the only sustainable energy source currently available to us. D) Radionucleotides used in nuclear power plants are very expensive and not cost effective compared to other fuels.
