Now, the black pepper snake, with its Latin name Lampropeltis getula holbrooki, is a non-venomous snake belonging to the species of king snake. They are usually 48 inches or 120 cm long. They are mostly found in central and southern America. For food, they prey on small mammals, rodents, birds, frogs, lizards, and other snakes.
