Explanation: Non cellular life is the life that exists without any cells. Viruses are non cellular means the life exists without a cellular structure for atleast part of its life cycle. Viruses are not considered true living organisms. They are assemblies of molecules including lipids, proteins, nucleic acid and carbohydrates but they cannot do anything on their own until they enter living cell. As the cell theory states that cell is the basic unit of life, virus and priones are not considered living organisms by this law and hence called non cellular as they do not have cells.
