What is important about the ocean being able to absorbs carbon dioxide?

    The ocean is able to absorb CO₂ which is very important to reduce the greenhouse gases. CO ₂ is used by many creatures from the ocean for to their shells

    (CO2 reacts with calcium and the result CaCO3 is used to form shells)
