How do the two types of fermentation differ? one produces atp and one does not. they have different end products. they have different oxygen requirements. they start with different sugars. description?

    Lactic Acid Fermentation and Alcoholic Fermentation. Lactic Acid fermentation produces lactic acid, and alcoholic fermentation produces alcohol and carbon dioxide. Lactic acid fermentation has 2 ATP. Oxygen is required for the process to occur-Aerobic means. No oxygen is required for the process to occur-Anaerobic means. The ferment sugar which produces ethanol, methanol, and only a little ATP.
