A student remarks that it is a good thing that humans discovered how to use industrial processes to fix nitrogen because this ensures that the nitrogen cycle can remain intact if nitrogen-fixing bacteria ever go extinct. Evaluate the accuracy of this statement.

    This statement cannot be considered as accurate due to many appropriate reasons.

    The nitrogen-fixing bacteria not only provide nitrogen to organisms but also distribute them as per needed globally.

    The human-made nitrogen cannot be subjected to distribution like done naturally by the nitrogen-fixing bacteria.

    The distribution of nitrogen globally in their accurate amounts will be almost impossible by humans.

    Hence, the statement made by the child cannot be considered to be true.
