Bacteria are organisms that reproduce asexually. asexual reproduction can be an advantage to bacteria if it enables them to:

(a) use more cellular energy to reproduce

(b) grow larger populations more quickly

(c) from populations with more genetic variation

(d) produce more tetrads during reproduction

    Cause

    -using more energy is not a good thing

    -no genetic variation without 2 parents to contribute

    -Meiosis provides the variation that sexual reproduction requires, creates tetrads. So this is correct but not really an advantage
