While analyzing a karyotype genetics identify a missing chromosome. Which term describes this chromosomal abnormality

    The term is "aneuploidy", thats how we call the abnormal number of chromosomes. The name changes by the number of missing chromosomes:

    1 = monosomy3 = trisomy4 = tetrasomy
