Why is carbon important to organic molecules?

    Because Carbon is used for plants to give us oxygen, carbon is a important part of photosynthesis which gives us air. And lets them lie.

    Life is based on carbon; organic chemistry studies compounds in which carbon is an essential element. the properties of carbon make it the backbone of the organic molecules which form living matter. Carbon is a such a versatile element because it can form four covalent bonds.
